Meet Our instructors

Cassandra

A.K.A Boss Belle / Studio Pole Mama

Just before her 42nd birthday, Cassandra took up pole fitness during a sabbatical — what friends jokingly called a “midlife crisis” turned into a brand-new career. With a science background and 17 years in finance, she never expected to find her calling in the studio, yet here she is, proudly embracing the Sisterhood.

Driven by passion, resilience, and heart, Cassandra is dedicated to creating a space where people reconnect with their strength, confidence, and unapologetically powerful selves — vertigo and all.

Laura

Laura is the founder of Griffin Aerial Arts and a professional circus performer and coach with over 15 years of international experience. She has toured across Canada, the U.S., Europe, and beyond with companies including Illuminair Entertainment, Cirque Sublime, and Disney Cruise Lines.

With a strong foundation in dance, movement science, and applied neurology, Laura brings a thoughtful, individualized approach to aerial training. Her passion for innovation and student-centered coaching continues to inspire performers here at Brass Belles and across the circus community.

Del

Adele began her pole journey in 2013 while looking for a new challenge, quickly discovering a passion that became a core part of her fitness career. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, she is a highly certified fitness professional with training in pole, strength coaching, yoga, Pilates, aerial yoga, and pre- and post-natal fitness.

Adele brings a warm, motivating teaching style shaped by years of coaching, facility leadership, and personal athletic achievements. She is deeply passionate about helping students feel strong, confident, and supported as they work toward their goals.

Serena

Serena’s gentle, graceful approach to pole helps our Intermediate & Advanced level students to polish and push themselves.  Serena has many years not only with pole, but circus training and silks.   When she isn’t busy flying high, she has a Clark Kent alter ego professional life, and a loving family to keep her busy.

Helen

Helen brings her artistic passion for circus arts to Pole Silks and Aerial Silks classes, creating sessions that are both fun and challenging for all fitness levels. Outside the studio, she balances her training with family life and a career in IT, proving that strength and creativity can thrive in every chapter of life. Helen believes that limitations exist only when we believe in them, and she encourages her students to explore what’s possible—both in the air and beyond.

Tiana

Tiana began her pole journey in 2018 with no dance background and quickly fell in love with the challenge and creativity of the art form. With a strong sports background, she developed powerful tricks and dynamic combinations, later expanding into a signature flow style with the support of the pole community. Tiana is passionate about reminding her students that pole is for everyone, encouraging them to move freely, build confidence, and dance like no one is watching.

C.K.

Krysta began pole dancing in 2016, transitioning from a background as a competitive classical dancer and gymnast. Her specialty has always been acro, a natural bridge between dance and gymnastics, making pole feel like home from the start.

She’s remained deeply connected to the world of fitness, training in pole in the UK and France while expanding into CrossFit and strength-based movement. Movement has always been her language—whether through dance, acrobatics, or functional training. She loves exploring what the body can do, and she plans to keep moving, learning, and evolving for as long as she can.

Patricia

Patricia is a dedicated mom and working professional who found her passion in pole and never looked back. From polesilks to heels and floorwork, she fell in love with the art early on—growing from a committed student into a confident instructor.

Having been part of the Brass Belles community for many years, Patricia brings experience, heart, and a deep understanding of the journey to every class she teaches.

Bonny

Bonny grew up playing sports—baseball, basketball, flag football, and competitive soccer, which became her true passion and is still a part of her life through a women’s league. She loves reading, being outdoors, and she is deeply obsessed with music. She didn’t discover pole dance until her early 20s, when she took her first class with a friend. That experience quickly led to working at a studio in both administrative and teaching roles, where she fell in love with the pole community and its celebration of individuality. Highlights included pole expos in Vegas, workshops with the GOAT (Alethea Austin), and meeting, teaching, and befriending our Boss Belle.

After stepping away from pole for over ten years, she returned two years ago as a student and was warmly welcomed back by Cass. Her love for freestyle movement, and musicality has only grown as she has explored how pole dance has evolved artistically over the years.
This reignited her desire to teach, driven by a passion for helping others embrace their unique style and find their flow. She believes in positive energy and creating spaces where people can let loose, connect with their bodies, and experience the joy of movement through music, lighting, and self-expression.

Madison

Madison started her pole journey with the Brass Belles Family in 2018. When she isn’t at the pole studio, she is also an artist, certified yoga instructor,  and a life-long dancer. Madison’s love for movement allows her to turn a pole move into an artistic flow. Her goal in every class is to show that every body is capable of moving in a way that feels good for them and will lift their spirits and confidence.

Whitney

Training in pole and hoop since 2021, Whitney has fallen in love with the strength, creativity, and confidence the sport builds. In 2024, she began sharing that passion as an instructor, with a focus on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students can feel empowered to explore their abilities, build skills safely, and enjoy the journey.

She loves helping others discover what their bodies can do and watching their confidence grow both on and off the apparatus.

Michaela

Michaela took her very first pole class back in 2010 with Serena and was instantly hooked. Life did its thing (as it does), priorities shifted, and she stepped away for a bit—but pole never really left my heart.

In 2020, just after COVID, she signed up for a single class at Brass Belles to see if that spark was still there. Spoiler alert: it absolutely was. From the moment she walked through the doors, she felt strong, supported, and completely at home.

The encouragement from the owner, instructors, and fellow students has been nothing short of amazing. This studio is my safe space—a place to grow, to fall, to try again, and to celebrate every win. Now, she’s so excited to give that same energy back. Her goal is to empower her students, cheer them on loudly, and remind them just how strong, capable, and badass they truly are—on and off the pole.

Amanda

Amanda comes from a background in competitive dance training in ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics, contemporary, lyrical, modern, and flexibility since the age of 5. She found her passion for teaching when she became a dance instructor in university.

Amanda’s love for aerial arts started when she first saw silks hanging in another room while at a dance camp. She dreamed of climbing them but never had the chance due to her busy schedule. After graduating University, she finally found the perfect time to live out that little girl’s dream. This is when she found her new home here at Brass Belles in 2023.

Amanda now practices in hoop, silks, straps, partner balancing, and flexibility. She loves combining her background in dance with the beauty of strength in aerial arts to captivate an audience through her many performances. Amanda is passionate about sharing her love of aerials with her students, helping them build skills and find their path as an artist.

Kacie

Kacie began her pole journey in 2015 and has returned to it time and again while moving between cities for work and school. With a background in competitive sports, she blends strength and conditioning with fluid, expressive movement. Always eager to try new things, she finds aerial fitness to be the perfect space for growth, creativity, and challenge.

Kacie believes big tricks are built through dedication and made beautiful with practice, and she loves encouraging others to see fitness as both fun and empowering.

Meenah

Meenah’s been with Brass Belles since 2018, where she fell in love with aerial silks. She started as a true beginner with zero upper body strength—so trust her—she understands the beginner struggle. She loves aerials, puzzles, baking, and is a huge sports fan!

Natalie

Natalie started her pole journey in 2019 and quickly fell in love with the strength, technique, and creativity it builds. She’s a big believer in strong foundations and celebrating small wins.

Outside of pole, she loves to travel, spend time with her family, and put her problem-solving skills to use as an electrical engineer.

Mercedes

Mercedes (she/they) is an aerialist, fitness enthusiast, and combat/stunt performer. She has been training with Brass Belles since 2018, as well as Flipnfly Circus (New Zealand), and continues her stunt/gymnastics training at Training Maddness Gym. Her specialty includes Aerial Silks, Conditioning, and General Gymnastics/Stunts. Mercedes’ teaching style blends enthusiasm, encouragement, and consent forward practices to help her students rise to their best self—be prepared for fun, bad puns, and hard work in Mercedes’ classes.

When not at Brass Belles she can be caught playing with swords, performing on stages, or off on an adventure.
